News Roundup

Hamilton: Sunday night is when we will learn if Hamilton will become the most awarded Tony show of all time, besting The Producers and their 12 wins back in 2001. Many people are predicting a sweep for Hamilton. It’s gotten so big that the Wall Street Journal has a piece up about the  rap in Hamilton.

Politics: Well we met the inevitable predictable end that we all thought we’d be seeing in 2008. Hillary Clinton has wrapped up the Democratic Nomination for President. So it’s Trump and Clinton like we all dreaded. However this looks like it will be a one-term President, and we haven’t had one of those in almost 20 years. I was talking to some friends and one of them suggested that Clinton  name Trump her VP and then kill two birds with one stone. If only the twelfth Amendment didn’t change the rule in which the Vice President was the runner up in the election.

ABBA: In lighter news ABBA reunited for an evening at an event honoring 50 years since songwriters Bjorn Ulvaeus and Benny Anderson met for the first time. It’s nice that they did this.
