Stanley Cup Finals and NBA Finals

Both of these have gotten around to the final round in their respective playoffs.

In the NHL the Penguins are facing the Sharks and it looks like Pittsburgh will be wrapping up the series rather quickly unless San Jose continues to win at home and finds a way to beat the Penguins. Since the Sharks have managed to keep the games close it looks like it’s a tight matchup.

In the NBA we have a rematch of last years NBA Final with Golden State facing the Cavaliers. Golden State is playing for history with the record 73 win regular season many people have been saying that they need to win the Title for the regular season record to mean anything.  These same people are saying that LeBron James needs to win another NBA Title and by taking down an Elite team to convince them that he is the next Kobe/Jordan. Whoever wins it likely will go six or seven games, but I think that Golden State has the edge as they just haven’t lost much this year and during the regular season Golden State prevailed both times they faced the Cavaliers. Although Cleveland has that 52 year title drought so they might be fighting for it more than last year.
