Thanksgiving

Today is the day when we remember that most of us in the United States came from someplace else in the world.  The classic story of the Pilgrim’s plight how the left England for religious reasons and came to the New World. They were refugees just like those who are dominating the political comments. So mind the political pitfalls around the dinner table with aunts and uncles from places far off.

It is also the kick off of the holiday season which lasts until January were we all will be eating just about everything in sight and not really caring about what all we eat. Indulge this holiday season and have safe travels where ever you might go. If you have some time I hope you can listen to the song Alice’s Restaurant some time today as well since today marks the 50th anniversary of the events.
