Attacks in Paris

We have all been shocked, deeply saddened and some of us are angry about the event that happened in Paris last Friday. Pope Francis eloquently reflected on this during the Angelus Sunday saying “Such barbarity leaves us shocked and we wonder how the human heart can conceive and create such horrible events, which have shaken not only France but the whole world. Faced with such acts, one can not but condemn the unspeakable affront to human dignity. I want to reaffirm strongly that the path of violence and hatred does not solve the problems of humanity and who use God’s name to justify this way is blasphemy!”

Let us keep this in our thoughts over the next couple of days and hopefully let it change some hearts who want a larger war which some are already calling World War III. As that song goes “Let there be peace on Earth and let is begin with me “all too often we forget that there are several wars going on in the world currently. Let us all begin by trying to become a more peaceful nation, I hope that in America we can try and get all these race relations problems solved in the near future, since being non-white is not a crime.
