Today is Back to the Future Day as it is the day that Marty McFly comes to in 2015 in Back to the Future: Part II. I am sure that this is going to make all the news sights and people will be doing movie marathons and other things like that like commenting on how much the real 2015 lines up with the 2015 in the film.
Mets/Cubs: According to The Jewish Week this is the most Jewish baseball series ever. Since both teams have be waiting for this moment to come for year and blah, blah, blah. It’s mostly pro-Mets and goes into some Yankees bashing (four empires that ruled over the Jews are the four dynasties). The Mets became a team in the 60s and have always played second fiddle to their big brothers in the Bronx. Sure the fans in Chicago have been waiting a century for this to happen but 29 years is a long time as well. Anyway the Mets are up three games to none. so it’s not looking like Chicago has any hope left to make it to the World Series.
Architecture: This one is a bit out there. It’s about something called Architectural Satire. It’s a unique idea but it seems to be mostly in the model design phase as nothing has really been built.
